Meet the team who are dedicated to your pet’s health.

Dr. Nathan Feyerabend

Veterinarian and Owner

Dr. Nathan Feyerabend is our veterinarian and owner at QCVC. Dr. Nate has exceptional surgical and medical skills to help your pet live a happy, healthy, pain free life. He enjoys internal medicine cases, dentistry, and has a special interest in orthopedic surgical procedures. Dr. Nate is very gentle-natured and often finds that anxious pets trust his approach.

Dr. Marci Feyerabend

Veterinarian and Owner

Dr. Marci Feyerabend is our veterinarian and owner at QCVC. Dr. Marci has a special interest in senior pet care, soft tissue surgery, and radiology. She and Dr. Nate share their home with their 3 children and 2 dogs. Dr. Marci is very thorough and often finds that early detection results in the best patient outcomes.

Dr. Lauren Poulignot

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Lauren is our Associate Veterinarian and joined the Quivira Crossing team in 2021. She has special interests in surgery, dentistry, dermatology, and preventative medicine. Dr. Lauren, her husband, and three children share their home with a menagerie of pets that include dogs, cats, fish, tortoises, snakes, goats, cows, and horses. They enjoy everything about the outdoors and can often be found at the lake or Sporting KC games in their free time.

Dr. Erica

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Erica is our Associate Veterinarian. She is originally from Topeka and attended Kansas State Veterinary College. Dr. Erica spent 3 years following graduation in the US Air Force as a Public Health Officer stationed in Colorado Springs. Following her service, she returned to clinical practice where her passion lies. Dr. Erica has special interests in infectious diseases, ophthalmology, and staying current with recommended internal medicine management/surgical cases. In her free time, she has a goal of exploring all of the parks and playgrounds in KC with her husband, toddler, and poodle mix Nora.

Myra

Office Manager

Myra is the office manager of Quivira Crossing Veterinary Clinic. Myra has been a member of our team since day one in 2017 with over 13 years of experience in the veterinary field. She loves providing our clients and patients with exceptional customer service. She assures your visit is enjoyable every time and makes sure the clinic is running smoothly, day in and day out. She is passionate about her career and enjoys getting to know our clients and their pets. She shares her home with her husband Sean, son Mason, and 5 pets (3 dogs, 2 cats). In their free time, Myra and her family can be found at KC Mavericks hockey games, rooting on the KC Royals, or trying new Mexican restaurants in the KC area.

Tracie

Receptionist

Tracie joined our team in 2018 with over 19 years’ experience in the veterinary field. Growing up on a central Kansas cattle ranch nurtured her love of all animals big and small. Tracie shares her home with her kitty Simi. In her spare time, she loves creating jewelry as well as exploring estate sales and thrift stores for her next projects.

Kelle

Receptionist

Kelle joined QCVC with many years of experience in the field of veterinary medicine. She has been married for over 20 years and has twin boys, a daughter-in-law, and one granddaughter. In her spare time, Kelle enjoys riding motorcycles, spending time with friends and family, and loving on her fur babies! Kelle loves getting to know our clients and their pets!

Xandi

Receptionist

Xandi comes to QCVC with 5 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist. She grew up in the KC/JoCo area and currently lives in Lenexa with her husband and their two dogs, Paisley and Grizzly. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, thrifting, being outdoors, dumbbell workouts, and a variety of creative outlets including drawing, social media, running a small business and writing. Xandi strives to facilitate clear communication and build trust between our veterinarians and our clients. She is excited to get to know our clients and patients!

Luana

Veterinary Technician

Luana was born and raised in Brazil and has been in the United States since 2010. She shares her home with her husband Vinny, cat Simba, and also has two horses! In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, attending concerts, books, and cooking/baking. Luana loves assisting in surgeries and helping pets recover from anesthesia.

Haley

Veterinary Technician

Haley started out as one of our receptionists and was cross trained as a veterinary technician. She is originally from Louisburg, Kansas. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her two dogs. Haley’s favorite part of working in a veterinary clinic is helping people welcome new furry additions to their families!

Chye

Veterinary Technician

Chye joins us with over 7 years of experience working in the veterinary field with a wide range of experience from teching, physical therapy, ER, and reception work. She grew up in the Kansas city area and now lives in Edwardsville with her fiancé and fur babies. They currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a ferret. All of their pets are named after their shared passion for old cars. Together, they spend most of their time with their adopted nieces, riding motorcycles, and spending time at the lake. Chye strives to make every pet feel as safe and comfortable as possible when coming to the clinic, as if they were her own adopted pets!

Alexis

Veterinary Technician

Alexis is originally from Wichita, Kansas and has worked in the veterinary field for the last five years. Currently, Alexis is finishing her Associate of Science degree at JCCC, with the goal of becoming a Veterinarian. At home, she has her own furry crew to keep her on her toes; Tripp (Boxer), Frankie (Frenchie), and Sinatra (Yorkie). Alexis has always loved helping animals and owners. She thrives on forming connections and making every pet’s visit to the clinic as positive and reassuring as possible.

Brooke

Veterinary Technician

Brooke joins our team with 7 years of prior veterinary experience doing everything from kennels to tech work and even anesthesia sales. She is happy to be returning to her greatest passion, caring directly for the animals in our community. Brooke shares her home with her pit bull, Wilbur, and her two cats, Frank and Mia. Brooke leans on her fear-free training to make vet visits a pleasant experience for everyone involved.

Audreona

Veterinary Assistant

Audreona can be found assisting all over the clinic. She has had a special interest in animals since she was a child. She is currently going to Kansas State University for pre-veterinary medicine in hopes to attend vet school and become a veterinarian. Audreona lives with her two dogs, Momo and Woody. In her free time, she enjoys crafting and being outside with her dogs. Audreona enjoys growing her veterinary knowledge, working with pets and assisting the team wherever needed.

Kaitlin

Kennel Attendant

Kaitlin joins our team as a kennel attendant. She recently graduated from College of the Ozarks where she majored in Animal Science. She is an all-around animal lover! Kaitlin enjoys playing cards with her family, woodburning, painting, and spending time with her dogs Leo and Indie. You can find Kaitlin caring for all of our boarded pets and keeping the hospital comfortable and clean. She likes getting to know all the pets during their boarding stay while giving them the same love we know they receive at home!

Ashley

Groomer

Ashley has been compassionately grooming for 15 years and takes pride in her job. She is registered with the National Dog Grooming Association of America and has extensive experience in deshedding, scissoring, hand stripping and creative grooming. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, live music, tie-dying and DIYing. She has two small dogs, Jasmine and Ziggy, and two cats, Shila and Bamf. Ashley is very passionate about her job and loves making your dogs look and feel beautiful! She is currently accepting new clients!

Kelsi

Groomer

Kelsi joins us with over 9 years’ experience as a pet groomer. She is skilled in scissoring, deshedding, and handling to keep your pets looking their best and feeling great. Kelsi enjoys taking the time to get to know you and your pet which allows her to best understand what suits your needs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner Tony, and their two dogs, DeeDee, and Rodney. Kelsi also loves spending time with family and reading. She is currently accepting new clients!

Roberta

Groomer

Roberta is our professional groomer. She has over 45 years of experience grooming and is an expert at what she does. She is extremely detail oriented and spends ample time with each and every animal she grooms. She does a lot of hand scissoring and custom cuts to fit the individuality of each pet.

Sat: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Saturday appointments are reserved for sick pets and emergencies only.
Sun: Closed
*We will be closed the first Monday of every month from 11am - 12pm for staff development.
