Dr. Nathan Feyerabend
Dr. Nathan Feyerabend (Fire-ah-bend) is the new owner and veterinarian of Quivira Crossing Veterinary Clinic. He brings exceptional surgical and medical skills to help your pet live a longer, healthier life. He enjoys internal medicine cases, dentistry, and has a special interest in orthopedic surgical procedures.
Dr. Feyerabend grew up in Blue Springs, Missouri and attended The University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine under the early acceptance program. He was class president of his veterinary class all four years. Dr. Feyerabend has traveled to one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere to provide free veterinary services such as spaying and neutering to the local animals.
He enjoys spending time with his wife Marci, who is also a veterinarian, and their two children Luke and Lainey. He also shares his home with three ornery dogs, Lei Lei, Smudge, and Tally.
Dr. Feyerabend is enjoying meeting all of the wonderful clients and patients at Quivira Crossing Veterinary Clinic.
Myra comes to Quivira Crossing Veterinary Clinic with over seven years of experience as a veterinary receptionist. Myra provides our clients and patients with exceptional customer service each and every visit. She is very organized, driven and assures your visit is enjoyable. Her ability to multitask is impressive, and she makes sure the clinic is running smoothly day in and day out. Myra is passionate about her career and loves getting to know our clients and patients.
Myra and her husband Sean have an adorable little boy named Mason who is the light of their lives and keeps them very busy. They also share their home with two cats and three dogs. When she is not working, you can often find her cheering on the Royals or Mavericks! We are so fortunate to have such an attentive, caring receptionist to greet you with her warm smile each and every visit.
Bobbi is our registered veterinary technician. She was specially trained by the best to provide only the highest quality of care. She has many outstanding capabilities but is most notably skilled in monitoring anesthesia, administering emergency care, and providing top-notch attention to hospital patients. As a jack of all trades, you may also find Bobbi operating the front desk from time to time or making follow-up calls to check on patients.
When she is not at the clinic tending to patients, Bobbi and her soon-to-be husband Adam have a daily routine of tending to their flock of chickens, four rescue dogs, two rescue cats, and the resident ducks. The most time consuming but rewarding part of her menagerie are her Nigerian Dwarf goats who think they are dogs. Sometimes, you can find bottle-fed, diapered goat kids lounging on her couch, just like any other member of her family.
Roberta is our professional groomer. She has over 40 years experience grooming and is an expert at what she does. She is extremely detail oriented and spends ample time with each and every animal she grooms. She does a lot of hand scissoring and custom cuts to fit the individuality of each pet.
Roberta enjoys gardening, reading, and wildlife. She and her late husband Dr. Anderson were practice owners of Anderson Animal Clinic for 26 years. She has done it all, from practice owner to veterinary receptionist, assistant and grooming. We are delighted to have Roberta as a part of our team here at Quivira Crossing Veterinary Clinic.
